Getting to Sedona

Arrival Time and Departure Dates
Travel to and from the outing start point is not included in the cost of our tours. We recommend staying one-night in Sedona before your outing. If commuting from Phoenix, please expect a two hour drive time.  

Where to Fly Into
We suggest flying into Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport in Phoenix, AZ. This is the largest airport in the state and will offer the quickest and easiest way to get to Sedona. 

Getting to Sedona
Once you’ve landed in Phoenix you essentially have three options for getting to Sedona. You can rent a car, hire private transport, or take a shuttle. The car rental will give you flexibility for exploring Sedona during your trip, private transport will give you more space than the shuttle, while the shuttle will save you money.

  • Luxury Hotels:  L'Auberge de Sedona is one of the finest hotels and restaurants in America. Their creekside rooms are our favorite and even feature outdoor showers, observing the creek. Their more affordable, "Lodge Options" are also quite cozy and luxurious. This hotel gives off a sense of elegance and promises amazing service. Located in Uptown/On Oak Creek.
  • Moderately Priced: Amara Resort offers a nice restaurant/hotel combination and is located near Oak Creek with a beautiful infinity pool. Their facility is modernly designed, and they have a great spa (Uptown/On Oak Creek. Hyatt Pinon Point provides a nice central location in Uptown with excellent elevated views of Sedona. Rooms are fairly priced, spaciously designed, and the facility has a nice elevated pool and work-out facility.  Located in Uptown Sedona.
  • Cabins in the CanyonJunipine Resort offers romantic cabins away from the crowds in Uptown and West Sedona. The rooms are charmingly rustic and can include a private Jacuzzi tub overlooking the creek. The on-site restaurant is known as The Table, which offers respectable food in a beautiful canyon setting. Located in Oak Creek Canyon/On Oak Creek.
  • Most AffordableArroyo Roble Best Western is likely to be the best priced option with impressive elevated views of Oak Creek Canyon. Located at the edge of Uptown, you are close to everything and far enough away to have a little less noise. Located in Uptown Sedona.
